We are delighted to attach the college’s proposed new strategic plan for the period 2022-2025, Focused on the Future. The plan sets out a new mission and vision for the college and reaffirms the underpinning values which will guide our behaviour.

The plan describes how we will develop our technical provision, through our technical living institutes, and how these align to the skills needs and opportunities in the region. Importantly the plan also describes our critical role in inclusion, through our inclusive living institutes, and how we will work to ensure young people and adults at risk of being marginalised are included in the region’s future prosperity.

The plan also sets out our strategy for digital development, the future of our estates, our approach to a net zero carbon future, our financial strategy, the key risks we have identified in delivering the plan and the outcomes we are targeting for 2025. There’s also an important section on ‘our people’ where we set out our strategic approach to developing and better supporting the college’s staff.
