Delivered by Workplace Training Support and partner organisations, and in collaboration with the Humber Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEP), Skills Support for the Workforce provides industry-relevant skills training in sectors including Manufacturing, Agri-food, Visitor Economy, Low Carbon, Health & Care, Ports & Logistics.
Skills Support for the Workforce provides recognised accredited qualifications and bespoke training courses to enhance your employees’ skills, increase the competitiveness of your business and boost the local economy. Skills Support for the Workforce is co-financed by the Education and Skills Funding Agency and the European Social Fund.

If you are out of the redundancy period and are now unemployed, support is still available through the Skills Support for the Unemployed programme. To speak to a member of our team call 01482 598785 or you can speak to your work coach at the Job Centre.
We work in partnership with the Humber Local Enterprise Partnerships to deliver Skills Support for the Workforce.
We provide industry-relevant skills training in sectors such as Manufacturing, Agri-Food, Visitor Economy, Low Carbon, Health & Care, Ports & Logistics, working alongside 20 partners based at colleges and training centres across both regions.
We also offer support for anyone facing or under redundancy through the Skills Support for Redundancy. It also provides support, advice and training through Skills Support for the Unemployed, which is available throughout the Humber region.

Hull College works collaboratively with its subcontracted partners to deliver a wide range of Adult Education Budget and Apprenticeship programmes. Subcontracted delivery is used to complement the College’s provision and, where needed, to provide additional skills and qualifications to meet the needs of learners and employers.
