Working alongside the college process the students will receive further support from HOP to produce a strong and worthy application for their chosen path.
Students will learn and put into practice research skills to collate and understand information from education and industry as to their chosen pathway.
An opportunity to visit a university to understand what HE is all about.
Students will be introduced to the personal attributes that will help them succeed in their chosen pathway. They will discuss barriers to success, overcoming adversity and breaking stereotypes.
Students will take part in workshops and talks to envisage the HE journey and lifestyle. You will research different institutions and course options in HE and be able to contrast and compare between them.
Drop in to discuss all aspects of finance for HE.
Students will be introduced to degree apprenticeships and higher education pathways including degrees with work experience.
Game of Throwing is an exciting new experience in the axe throwing world.
Students will assess the balance between work and study and the potential necessity or wish to extend that into HE.
They will research and act upon continual professional development to upskill, research and prepare for future study.
