Industry placements are a voluntary part of the curriculum for all students aged 16-18 studying a Level 2 or Level 3 course.
Gaining work experience in your chosen area of study is vitally important to help boost your employability after college and ensure that you are better prepared to be successful and productive in the workplace.
Your placement will see you spend a minimum of 45 days or 315 hours working for an employer in a role directly relevant to your course. It will provide you with the opportunity to develop your career choices, get a taste of work and put your learning into practice in the workplace to ensure you finish your course with the skills, knowledge, and expertise that employers are looking for and desire.
