We’re excited to announce that Hull College’s first Student CPD Week of the academic year will kick off on Monday 11th November.

This dedicated week is all about enhancing your personal and professional growth, preparing you with essential skills and insights to support your journey into the world of work.

What is CPD?

CPD stands for Continuous Professional Development, and it’s an integral part of ensuring that you, our students, are fully equipped to meet the demands of future employers. Our Student CPD Weeks are designed to provide practical support, real-world knowledge, and relevant skills from a range of industry experts.

What’s in Store?

Throughout the week, we have arranged an impressive line-up of external partners and industry leaders, each ready to share their expertise across four core themes that are crucial for career readiness. These are Sustainability, Leadership, Mental Health and Wellbeing, and Digital.

How to Get Involved

Full details of each scheduled session, along with links for sign-up, are available here. This link will also be emailed to all students for easy access. Remember, your regular weekly timetable will remain as usual, but our tutors, trainers, and assessors will be on hand to help you fit in any sessions you want to attend.

Don’t miss this chance to develop your skills, connect with industry leaders, and gain valuable insights for your future career! We look forward to seeing you there.
