Applying and securing your spot at Hull College has never been easier!

We're all about being proactive. We accept applications for our courses well in advance, so you don't have to wait until the last minute.

If you're about to bid farewell to school, you don't need to wait for your exam results before getting your application in.

And we get the whole application thing can seem a little bit intimidating, but don’t worry, we’re here to take the stress out of the process. So, take a deep breath, relax, and trust that applying to join us at Hull College is a piece of cake.

Step 1: Get Application Ready

To apply to study with us you will need to have an email account. This will allow our Admissions Team to communicate with you throughout the process of your application.

Step 2: Find Your Course

First things first - find your perfect course (or courses). You can view all the courses we offer here. Remember, you can apply for multiple courses and make your final decision during enrolment. We hold open events throughout the academic year to provide you with the perfect opportunity to discover more about life with us at Hull College and explore all of the options available to you.

Step 3: Apply Online

Once you have found the course (or courses) that’s right for you - simply hit the ‘Apply Now’ button on the course information page on the website. This will lead you to an online application form that is submitted to our Admissions Team. Don’t worry, you don’t need to create an account to apply to join us - all you have to do is fill in our online form.

Step 4: Attend An Interview

Once we have received your application, you will be invited to attend an interview. The interview is a really informal chat and a chance for you to discuss your options and goals with a course tutor. It will also provide you with another opportunity to find out more about being a student at the college and what we can offer you to help you prepare for your future career.

Step 5: Offer

You will receive a conditional offer of a place on your course, either via email or letter. If you change your mind about what course you want to study, don’t panic! Contact us and we will be able to get you onto your preferred course.

Step 6: Attend Our Experience Day

We believe that experiencing college life first hand is an essential part of making the right educational choice. That’s why we invite all full-time applicants to join us for our exclusive Experience Day. Get ready to immerse yourself in engaging lessons, interactive workshops, and exciting classes that will give you a real taste of what it's like to be a student at Hull College before you even start your course with us.

Step 7: Enrol

Once you have received your GCSE results in August, you will be able to enrol onto a course ready to start your studies with us in September. Further details about this process will be sent to you directly closer to the time.
