The Level 3
Sport and Physical Activity Study Programme gives you many opportunities to
experience a range of activities as part of your studies. You’ll develop your own abilities as a
coach and instructor, analyse data and experience what it is like to fitness
test a client and develop appropriate programmes to improve their health. Integrating sports theory into practice,
you’ll gain insight into specialist career industries or equally start the
preparation you need to move into higher education. You will also study Sports
Injuries, Sports Massage and Psychology in Sport to ensure a breadth of
progression opportunities.
This year we
can offer you additional qualifications including the Level 3
Award in Emergency First Aid at Work and a L3 Sport Leaders UK
Qualification in Sports Leadership to enhance your employability in the
sector.
After
completing your Level 3 course, you can find employment within the sports
industry in roles including coaching, fitness instructing or as a personal
trainer. Alternatively it will
ensure you are prepared to enter Higher Education in a sports related
programme.

It is important to note that when you enrol on an Access to HE courseyou can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to help with the costs of a course at a college or training provider in England.
Loan eligibility does not depend on your income and there are no credit checks.
Check if you’re eligible before you apply for an Advanced Learner Loan.
Your loan will be written off if you then sign up for a Higher Education course AND you have completed in full the Access to HE course.
